This Policy sets the privacy terms which apply to your use of the F1Play App. ISG and InCrowd are committed to protecting your privacy & security. This policy explains how ISG, InCrowd use your personal data, whether you’re just visiting our website or playing the game . Where you have choices or rights, we’ll explain them to you and respect your wishes. So that we can honour our commitment to be as transparent as possible, we have put together this policy which tells you:

  • what information we might collect about you when you visit our websites or download our apps
  • how we might use that information
  • when we might use your details to contact you
  • what information of yours we might share with others
  • your choices about the personal information you give us

We will regularly review the purposes for which we hold your personal data and will not hold it for longer than is necessary. We will also seek to minimise the personal data, which we hold about you wherever possible. If we intend to make use of your personal data for any new purposes which would be considered incompatible with the purposes for which it was originally collected, as set out in this Privacy Policy, we will notify you of such intended uses and seek your consent to such activities, prior to the commencement of any such processing.

Please note that in order to access some of our services, we may need to collect personal data from you in order to provide such services (e.g. when you register for the competition). Where we need information for such purposes we will make this clear to you.

    • As explained in the Terms and Conditions Interregional Sports Group Limited (‘ISG’, ‘we’, ‘us’) is the Promoter of the Competition. Interregional Sports Group Limited, whose offices are situated at 37 Warren Street London, W1T 6AD. Details of ISG’s notification to the data protection regulator may be found in the Information Commissioner’s Office Public Register of Data Controllers at ISG is the data controller in respect of all data provided by you.
    • This website, the F1Play App (the “Digital Products”) are operated by ISG and InCrowd Sports Ltd of Mimet House, 5a Praed Street, London, England, W2 1NJ. (“we”, “us” and/or “our”).
  2. What information do you collect from me?

Registering for the App

  • In order to enter the competition players are required to register at (the “Website”) or its related mobile app(s) (the “Mobile Apps”). Only one account is allowed per person. Multiple accounts will be closed.
  • Please note that ISG will process your personal data for the purpose of administering this competition, such as ensuring that your credentials are genuine, to ensure that we are meeting local law requirements for running such competitors and to contact the winner(s), for example we require your postcode and data of birth, to meet geographic gambling and age restrictions.
  • We ISG also collect information about the way you access, view, share, contribute to and communicate with and through our services, which may include things like your IP address, operating system (e.g. Android, iOS), mobile network information and location data. We may also log information about when you access the app like dates and times of access.

Winners and Entrants Verification and Publication

  • Winners will be notified by email or telephone registered on their account. It is each player's sole responsibility to ensure that their contact details are up to date.
  • So that ISG ensure that the competition is run fairly and lawfully, all prospective winners will be required to verify their age, identity, residence and any other requested verification information that we deem necessary to ensure that you are eligible to win the prize.
  1. Why do you use my information?
    • Personal information enable us to run the services for you on our Website and Mobile App, we need it so we can tailor our services to your needs. This section explains more about each category of data, the rights it gives you, how to exercise them and what that means in practice.
    • We’ve set out below the main reasons why we use your data so that we’re clear about why we process it:
      • in the normal course of our services, to allow us to register you to receive our services and to provide you with our services
      • to allow you to enter competitions that we run
      • to allow us to manage your account
      • to allow notifications about betting offers to be served to you (see ‘marketing’)
      • to send you our newsletters (where you have said that you would like to receive it)
      • to store your details when you return to our sites, which includes things like details of your visits to our site including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data and the resources that you access on the basis that processing is necessary in order to perform our contract with you to provide our services.
    • We also make use of your details for purposes, which are in our general business interests and allow us to deliver our services:
      • we use technical information about your device, such as operating system, browser version and location to present you with the correct version of our website or app and keep it functioning securely and correctly
      • to carry out basic analytics to help us understand, how, when, where and why our customers use our services, and how our business is performing. E.g. whether the app is popular and an idea of who are customers are (e.g. age group, gender, location, etc.). All of this information helps us to make better products that are relevant to you. We do this analysis in a way that does not identify individual customers, so there is no impact on the privacy of any one person
      • to validate your personal data (and, in some cases, match it against information that has been collected by a third party) to check that the personal data we hold about our users is accurate, consistent and up to date on the basis that you have consented to such processing by agreeing to share your personal data with us for such purposes
      • developing and/or consolidating our ventures and interests, as well as defending our legal rights and/or seeking advice from our professional advisors;
      • We also automatically collect some technical information from these devices and web browsers such as IP (internet protocol) address, device ID and app ID. We collect this to understand how you use our site and our apps, how we can improve it and how to make the services we provide to you better. See our Cookies Policy
    • When we process your personal information for our business interests, we will carefully consider and balance any potential impact on you and your rights under data protection and any other relevant law. Our legitimate business interests do not automatically override your interests – we will not use your personal data for activities where our interests are overridden by the impact on you (unless we are otherwise required or permitted to by law).

  2. I’m under 18, can I access the App?
    • We know that old and young alike love F1. Our websites and apps are aimed at over 18s, but we appreciate that they are accessed by a wide audience, which may include under 18’s.
    • If you are aged 15 or under, we will require permission from your parent or guardian in order for you to register on our website, unless otherwise stated at the point of registration. If you are required to provide permission from your parent or guardian, you will be asked to supply the name and email address of a parent or guardian to whom a confirmation email will be sent. Your account will only become active once your parent or guardian has clicked on the link within the confirmation email to provide their consent.
    • Although our services are not aimed at under 18’s, as a responsible organisation we will keep our services secure and will always take into consideration the Information Commissioners Office’s approach to children’s online safety.
    • Therefore in making our site generally accessible to the public we are processing information on the basis that keeping such information available is fun, promotes interest in sport and community engagement. We will always keep the safety and security of our sites under regular review and think about how we can make sure that any content we deliver is safe for all.
  3. Who do you share my information with?
    • Like most organisations we rely on a range of suppliers to deliver our services, so your personal data may be shared with them, bit only where we have vetted them and ensured that they handle your information in accordance with data protection law, and we also put in place contractual measures reinforcing those obligations.Below are some examples of the type of services we make use of:

    • Apart from the functions set out above, we do not share your personal information with third parties except where we are compelled or permitted by law to do so, like if we receive a request from a regulator or law enforcement agency.
    • We will always undertake a balancing exercise when we undertake such sharing and ensure that third parties with whom we work respect your privacy too.


  1. How long do you store my personal information for?
    • We only store your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, such as delivering the Mobile App and our services to you.
    • The length of time for which we keep different types of personal information can vary, depending on why we originally obtained them, the reason we process them and the legal requirements that apply. When deciding on how long we keep your data in accordance with the data protection requirements, we take into account a range of factors including applicable regulations and standards relating to gambling and gaming , anti-money laundering, taxation, payment processing and complaint handling, the need to prevent or detect crime or other misuse of our services, and audit requirements.
    • Sometimes we will need to keep your personal data even after you uninstall the Mobile App or cease to be registered with us, usually this is for legal and regulatory reasons, or to make sure that if you have asked not to be marketed to, we supress your data so that we can respect this preference.
    • If we can no longer establish a legal reason for holding on to the data we have, we will delete it securely.
    • We may also retain anonymous statistical data about Mobile App usage. When data is anonymous it means that is does not identify you and can’t be linked back to you.

    • In order to ensure fair and transparent processing, we will, taking into account our processing activities, adopt appropriate procedures for the processing of personal data, which shall include implementing technical and organisational measures which take into account the harm that may be suffered, and correct inaccuracies identified in personal data processed, so that risk of errors are minimised and your personal data is processed in a fair and secure manner.
    • All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our website and/or apps; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
    • It is important that you also keep your passwords and PINS secret, choose complex passwords (e.g. that contain numbers and symbols), change them regularly and never use the same password or PIN on multiple websites, especially for things like banking.

    • From time to time, service providers and organisations with whom we work to provide services to you or agencies with which we work, may be located outside the European Economic Area in countries that do not have the same standards of protection for personal data as the UK.

  • Within the Mobile App, when you play the competition game, if you are over the age of 18 you will be given the opportunity by our betting partners to place a real bet via their platforms if you so wish. This may involve you being presented with the following:
  • Based on the guesses you have made bespoke betting odds and offers relevant to you, communicated through pop-ups or other on-site content
    • If you choose to click on these offers, you will be taken to that betting partner(s) website in order to consider whether you wish to proceed with the transaction. This is not part of the game and any bets placed and any information you supply to those organisations will be processed by them in accordance with their terms and conditions and privacy policies.
    • Some personalised banner adverts on our sites are controlled separately through cookies, soyou will also need to adjust your browser’s cookie settings or you will continue to see them. 
  1. What are my rights and how do I manage my data?
    • Subject to our legal requirements and lawful grounds of processing, you may:

    • Object to marketing and processing: You canopt out of receiving marketing at any time. If we uphold your request and erase your data we will also notify any third parties to which the data has been passed, where we are able to do so, and tell you who they are. If we do not uphold your request, we will tell you why. If you disagree, you have the right to complain to the privacy regulator.
    • Rectification and Erasure: You may ask us to rectify inaccurate personal data or ask us to delete your personal data, specifying why you would like us to delete your personal data held about you by providing the updated information. You can update your personal details at any time via your online account.
